It has a special meaning
In this often gloomy world
No matter where it's falling on
Gold lights up nature like new born
And pours a shine of magic light.
In those moments of high spirits
You feel unfolding cheerfulness
Ardently climbing up the sunray
Calling birds of thoughts your way
A glimmer of hope divinely blessed.
May you not walk your way all blind
Look how it changes all impression
Sunlight dancing on trees and flowers
Leaving shadows bare of saddening power -
Pause on life's whirling passion.

My Favorite Star

Shining bright on the sky so far
it is the very first evening-star
though around there is darkest night
it proudly grants us the guarding light.
The star looks down on earth, on each creature
with a glance at me too, as encouraging gesture
sending with its tender silvery shine
good wishes for the worldly life of mine.
Once Christmas time is drawing near -
golden lined with hopes for the New Year
on heaven it prepares the brightest beam
to send me the happiest Christmas dream.
Dare I rise, step by step, the tree of life
and find the dreams it did provide?
My star keeps sparkling for my safe journey
I'm treading it softly, now lose any worry...

When the morning world is mine
with all these blissful visions
I'm grateful for this quiet time
to dream and make decisions
I love the tranquil of the dawn
before the sun's greeting my eyes
Bits of slumber, a hidden yawn
I'm filled with happy thoughts of praise
Birds awake with morning songs
I feel this mystery of dawn
all of a sudden I do long
to walk the dewy grass of lawn
Thank God for mornings of each season
they are a blessing to behold
pray for the world not facing reason
that deprives us of this morning gold

I found you and ever since, I walk on the sunny side

Song Of Spring

While snowflakes dance and a cold Eastwind blows
My hands in the pockets and a red tip of nose
I'm keeping my heart warm with a lovely dream
Knowing of wonders, taking place soon in Spring:
Spread out is a golden velvety carpet
On pastures’growing, green, lush bed
While trees attract us veiled like brides
Twig and branch covered in radiant white
Gardens compete with tulips and crocus
Every spot shining in beautiful colors
Above all is the arch of a deep blue sky
Garnished with shepherds clouds sailing by.
A day in May, described in a chanson
Makes our hearts tremble and lights up our soul
After the winter's rule so austere
We're craving warmth, light, new life to appear
Birds been mute, they greet mornings again
None of them looks for a partner in vain
Soon soil and air are bustling with life...
Spring is the bliss we gratefully achieve.

I count the shadows of surrounding trees
My eyes pervade the canopy of leaves
Time meanders, left are empty minutes
I need dreams to recognize my benefits.
There! – You appear like a sparkling rainbow
At the artery of horizon silver-blue
Our eyes meet, melancholy now is past
And faith will make our confidence last.
Together we prove to reach close to Heaven
We can conquer distance, let alone the ocean
My heart's desire led me out of the night
To grant me this gentle, encouraging light.
Find me in your dreams and I will be there
Read in my soul and you'll feel me near
Soothed all pain, the image of an Angel takes part
A portrait of love, captured by my heart.

Divine Love

God's love was with me from the start
He paints my path of life each day
Protects me throughout any darkness
With Angels beside me all the way.
His source of love enlightens my soul
My heart learns how this love is shared
Grateful for the blessings of our Lord
I bend my knees knowing I will be heard.
God's glory talks to me by the sunset
By thunder's voice and the touch of a breeze
Among thousands His eyes are upon me
And never would He miss anyone's pleas.
I am aware of His Divine guidance
Praying for light on a crossroad's turn
His mercy can be taken for granted
Yet patiently He waits for us to learn.
Thank you Lord, we all are lost without You
You're not found in Heaven but in our midst
Our trust in You helps through challenges
Your love tears apart all erroneous' mist.

Feelings

I have been told -
all feelings were just white or black,
or in between in grey so cold.
But then I looked for colors too
and I found out that present though,
people are suppressing feelings
by so many different meanings.
Inside me I am glad to think,
that life is drawn trust worthier
by colors, than black ink.

Where the ocean meets the sky
We were walking hand in hand
Our feet striding alike
Rhythmically in the sand.
Where white horses dance
The soaring Seagulls cry
Can you feel this romance
Somehow, somewhere, someday?
I sit here with a special dream
Far across the living sea
Wishing for some place again
Out beyond the crystal spray.
Behind the castles made of sand
The sea inside a single shell
We leave our fate in God's hand
Our dreams - He knows so well.
My feelings are devoted
Eternally to you
For sharing this I've waited
Sending pleas to heavens hue.
So wait for our goal in sight
Where the ocean meets the sky
Pale blue, sometimes grey and white
Where mermaids wave good bye.
